Hey there, are you an iOS enthusiast who wants to learn more about programming in Swift and gain both experience and money? Well, you’re in the right place!
With summer just around the corner, we have good news for you – we’re organizing our second iOS Summer School! Yup, our three-month paid internship, during which you’ll learn all about developing functional iOS apps, is back. By the end of September, you'll have a portfolio with a few smaller apps that you developed in Apple’s latest framework, SwiftUI.
Do we have your attention? Great, keep reading.
What can you expect from us?
First things first, you can't work without equipment, right? And no, you don’t have to bring your own – a MacBook Pro and a COBE goodie bag await you as soon as you enter the office.
Now, let us introduce you to your greatest support and guidance through this journey, your mentor, Mladen. Our Finance Manager and iOS Developer has over 10 years of experience in developing iOS apps and is currently leading a team of four. Although you'll mostly work with him, you can also expect help from other team members – Jakov, Saša, Ivan, and Bruno. Fun fact about Bruno and Ivan – they're last year's iOS Summer School graduates, and look how far they've come! 🥺
Let's switch back to you. You'll work 20 hours a week, mostly from home, with occasional visits to our office. But don't worry – you can ping your mentor whenever you're stuck. Other than that, you'll participate in weekly syncs with the iOS team, and if you figure out you need additional consultations, we also got your back. Another important notice – the internship takes place in Osijek, and the official course language is Croatian.
Now, let's talk money! Your hard work will be rewarded with a monthly payment, plus you'll receive a diploma for graduating from our iOS Summer School. But wait, there's more! If you give your best, there's a big chance you'll get a job afterward and officially join our iOS team.
What do we expect from you?
We're looking for students in their final year of studies with basic knowledge of object-oriented programming. You get an additional plus for experience in developing mobile solutions for Android, iOS, or Flutter.
Let's face it – starting a career as an iOS developer is not an easy task. From getting the necessary equipment to finding a mentor, there are lots of obstacles along the way. So, if you're a motivated and self-disciplined person interested in developing apps in SwiftUI, don't let this opportunity pass by. Send us your application and start your career as a Junior iOS Developer at COBE by the end of the year.
If you still have some questions, hear out first-hand experiences from our ex iOS interns – Bruno, Ivan, and Domagoj. You'll probably find most of the answers here.
Alright, here’s the deal:
First, send us your CV along with the link to your GitHub at posao@cobeisfresh.com. After that, we'll invite you for an interview to get to know each other a little better. In case of a large number of applicants, there will be one smaller task for you to solve.
