• You are the reliable constant for your accounts: you know their goals, their context and what they need next before they say it themselves. You understand their business objectives and can translate COBE services into their language.
• You actively develop client relationships as genuine long-term partnerships, spot upselling and cross-selling potential early, and bring it into the conversation proactively. You act as an escalation point and make sure client feedback flows back into the team in a structured way.
• You are the central point of contact for all finance, budget, and capacity-related topics across your projects, internally and with the client. You are responsible for budget and internal controlling reports and ensure they are up to date so that they serve as a reliable basis for decision-making.
• You monitor budget development, profitability and forecast accuracy and escalate early when something is heading in the wrong direction.
• You manage billing processes and project expenditures.
• You guide new opportunities through the entire proposal process, from the first assessment to the final offer, in close collaboration with design and development. You create proposals that are realistically scoped and convincing because they genuinely fit the client's situation.
• You negotiate on equal footing, protect COBE's position and develop new opportunities from existing projects, for the client and for COBE.
• You are an active part of COBE’s AI growth: you integrate AI tools firmly into your daily work, share your experiences with the team and help set new standards.
• You challenge existing processes with the question "how would this work better with AI" and don't wait for someone else to take the first step.
• You drive process optimization through for example automations, whether with AI or not.

• At least five years of experience in project and client management, including project controlling and financial management ideally within an agency or digital product environment.
• Experience and confidence working with a variety of AI models and knowing when using AI can make a difference.
• A clear understanding of numbers: you know what budget burndown, margin and forecast mean, and you actively use metrics to steer projects.
• Experience in effort estimation, scoping and proposal creation for digital products.
• Communication at decision-maker level: you can speak just as confidently with senior stakeholders on the client side as with the internal project team.
• Self-directed working: you don't need constant alignment to move things forward, but you seek feedback when it matters.
• A structured, detail-oriented and pragmatic way of working. You enjoy working with numbers and value accuracy without losing flexibility.
• Experience with tools like HubSpot, Productive or comparable projectmanagement and CRM systems.
• Very good German (C1 or above) and strong English, at least business fluent.
• You are willing to travel within the DACH region and look forward to attending client customer meetings in person on site.
